Transparent Garment Production

The first collection was designed in house in our south London studio. After the final garments were selected, samples were made at the Sophia Tailoring sample studio in East Sheen.

Some of the fabrics were gotten from German fabric haberdashery and the rest were sourced locally from Woolcrest Textiles in Hackney. The kolanut print was developed from a hand drawn illustration by Priscillia Okpan, this was digitally enhanced using Adobe illustrator and Design to create the final print tile. This was then printed by in sateen fabric.

Clothes production is done at Sophia tailoring in East Sheen. It is a small studio run by Jana Liptakova.

Subsequent collections have been developed and produced in house at our south London studio in Kingston to manage orders during and after the COVID-19 lockdown.

Fabric waste and scraps generated are reused to create smaller accessories such as scrunchies, scarves and berets. This is our way to reduce the amount of waste the brand generates.
